Vermont Floods
In July 2023, Montpelier, Vermont experienced a catastrophic flooding event that left the historic downtown district underwater. Lara Maalouf, a RAPID Graduate Scholar from the Pennsylvania State University, aimed to improve the documentation and investigation of flood mitigation practices by creating 3D models and orthomosaics of the area using the Leica RTC360 and the Phantom 4+ RTK.
